Overview

Shot and produced in Whatcom County, Dark Measures is a gritty, full-featured film about redemption and revenge – a single mom is left for dead by a roaming gang of thugs only to survive the trauma and fight back. Produced and directed by Chris Hazenberg and Fergus O’Fay, with editing and music production by Mark S. Johnson, this independent film was an official selection for the 2009 Cannes Film Festival in France, one of the most important annual film events in the world. “We are excited about the film making it to Cannes,” says Hazenberg. “The film is about one woman’s story that really speaks to the issues of violence against women and violence in society in general.”
