Only 20, Seattle-born Simone Porter has already performed with some of the most prestigious orchestras in the country, including the LA Phil with Gustavo Dudamel conducting. She debuted with the Seattle Symphony at age 10, and made her international debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London at 13. Her rise in classical music has been meteoric; we are thrilled to have her on our stage.

Her virtuosic skills will intersect beautifully with Tchaikovsky at the height of his powers when she plays his lush, passionate Violin Concerto.  We close the afternoon with his grand, triumphant Symphony No. 4.

“Future star… Wait. Let’s strike ‘future.’ She sounds ready. Now.” The Los Angeles Times
