An Evening with Author Ruth Ozeki

Bestselling author Ruth Ozeki will talk about her brilliant, unforgettable book A Tale for the Time Being and her life as a novelist, filmmaker, and Zen Buddhist priest. Ruth Ozeki also wrote My Year of Meats (1998) and All Over Creation (2003). This is one of several presentations Ozeki will make in our community March 3-5, 2016. This free event is open to the public with no ticket required and first-come, first-served seating. Lobby doors open at 6:00 p.m. with Main Stage seating by 6:30 p.m.

Approx. 1.5 hours

Box Office Hours:

Monday through Friday, 10 am to show time. If there is no show, the office closes at 6:00 pm.
On weekends, the office opens 2 hours prior to show time

Special Services:

Wheelchair accessible seats are available through the Ticket Office. The Theatre is not equipped with elevators or escalators. Assisted listening devices or earplugs can be picked up at the complimentary coat check located inside the main doors. Ask an usher to obtain a booster cushion for small children. All services are subject to availability.


All sales are final. Please check your order thoroughly before making your purchase. MBT Members can exchange the value of their tickets for another MBT-presented show of equal value. Tickets must be returned to the Ticket Office before the show for an exchange. Tickets can be donated back to the Theatre at least 24 hours before the show as a tax deductable contribution.
