MBT Wade Bennett King Education Series Event

Patrick Garner—star of Thomas Edison: Inventor, Lecturer, & Prankster in 2013 and The Lewis & Clark Expedition: A Celebration of American Teamwork in 2014—returns to MBT’s Walton Theatre to introduce your students to the life of one of America’s greatest figures and founding fathers. Follow Ben through his youth as an apprentice, his life as a prominent Philadelphia entrepreneur, the contributions to science that made him the most famous American in the world, and the extraordinary diplomatic service he gave the fledgling United States of America.

Core Audience: Grades K-5

Curriculum Connections: Theatre, Communication, Social Studies (particularly 5th Grade American History), Science (Electricity)

Box Office Hours:

Monday through Friday, 10 am to show time. If there is no show, the office closes at 6:00 pm.
On weekends, the office opens 2 hours prior to show time

Special Services:

Wheelchair accessible seats are available through the Ticket Office. The Theatre is not equipped with elevators or escalators. Assisted listening devices or earplugs can be picked up at the complimentary coat check located inside the main doors. Ask an usher to obtain a booster cushion for small children. All services are subject to availability.

Refunds/Exchanges:

All sales are final. Please check your order thoroughly before making your purchase. MBT Members can exchange the value of their tickets for another MBT-presented show of equal value. Tickets must be returned to the Ticket Office before the show for an exchange. Tickets can be donated back to the Theatre at least 24 hours before the show as a tax deductable contribution.
