Since his appointment at age 22 to Principal Cello for the Seattle Symphony, a virtually unheard-of accomplishment, Joshua Roman has developed a dedicated Pacific NW following. He returns to Bellingham to join the WSO in Elgar’s fiery concerto, one of the highlights of the instrument’s repertoire. The season closes with Brahms’s soaring, lyrical First Symphony.
