Alderwood Elementary Presents:

Rock the Salish Sea

Please join Alderwood Elementary School and  “Voices of Nature” for this one-time family event showcasing the entire school singing together!

On March 22nd, Directors Holly and Kevin will introduce the Voices of Nature Concert with Alderwood Elementary proudly singing together, for families and friends, about the importance and beauty of nature. The night will be filled with original songs such as “Up Your Watershed!”, “I Am The Future,” and “Water For Life.”

These Bellingham students have been working for months to learn the songs, to understand the natural world around them, and to know their part in it.  In partnership with WWU,  students from Huxley College for the Environment are engaged in supporting the children, as well as learning about teaching and evaluation, all of which will culminate in this community-supported event! The school community is excited to share its unique passion and energy, and looks forward to providing such a special one-time opportunity for its children.  All of the students will benefit tremendously from this chance to develop their sense of self and of belonging as a part of the Bellingham community.

This is an independent event promoted by a renter of the facility. Any comments or opinions expressed do not necessarily reflect the opinions or policies of Mount Baker Theatre.
