Northwest Dance Festival: Celebrating 100 Years of Charlie Chaplin and More

Charlie Chaplin’s immortal “Little Tramp” is now 100 years old. ‘Remembering Chaplin‘, choreographed by John Bishop delves into the life of Chaplin and his artistry. With enchanting music by Louis Moreau Gottchalks, this ballet will take audiences of all ages on an incredible walk down memory lane with scenes depicting some of Chaplin’s greatest movie works. James Innes, in the role of Charlie, will make you laugh, cry and most of all appreciate the precious gift that Chaplin gave to this world. Also included in the program is ‘Paquita‘ a one-act ballet. Paquita’s variations are some of ballet’s most celebrated examples of 19th-century classicism—and some of its most difficult.
