Volunteer Opportunities

Mount Baker Theatre depends on the support of hundreds of volunteers (STARS) each year. Our dedicated STARS provide thousands of hours of time in a variety of critical roles. Volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Office Support
Provide essential office support and assistance to Theatre staff during the workday. We need help answering phones, organizing and maintaining files, and helping with other clerical functions. Most office assistance is needed during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:30pm.

Ushers
Provide ushering services for Mount Baker Theatre shows. Schedules vary and specific show assignments cannot be guaranteed.

Member Events
Member events vary each year but, at a minimum, include pre-show receptions, the Patron's Club Intermission lounge, the Annual Meeting, and the Gold Circle Dinner. STARS assist in set-up, and partner with Theatre staff to make sure the event runs smoothly.

Theatre Tours
Be a Theatre ambassador by hosting free monthly tours. Weekend commitments required.
