MOMIX: Alice

Prepare to be transported down the rabbit hole in ALICE, Moses Pendleton’s latest creation for MOMIX, inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic Alice in Wonderland. Fusing illusion, acrobatics, magic, and whimsy, this fantastical journey blurs the lines between reality and fantasy. 

Founded and directed by Pendleton, MOMIX is internationally celebrated for its visually stunning productions that showcase the beauty of the human form intertwined with elements of nature, music, scenography, and life itself. Each performance is a meticulously crafted collage of  unique costumes and props set amongst artfully created light effects set to a dynamic score personally curated by Pendleton. 

Beyond the worldwide stage performances, MOMIX has captivated audiences through film and television, with broadcasts in 55 countries including PBS’s Dance in America series, France’s Antenne 2, and Italian RAI. The company was also featured in IMAGINE, one of the first 3D IMAX films to be released globally. 

MOMIX performances unfold through evocative imagery and surreal movement.  Dancers manipulate their bodies and props in unique and astounding ways to create a dreamlike world where nothing is quite as it seems.
