As the Mount Baker Theatre prepares to celebrate its Centennial Season and 100th birthday, the stewards of this historic venue want to thank the community that has made it all possible.
Over the last 100 years, the tower has stood as a defining part of the Bellingham skyline. From the moment you walk through the lobby doors, there is a sense of something special — an echo of the wonder audiences felt since the theatre first opened in 1927. This Centennial Season celebrates not only the history of this extraordinary theatre, but the community that has sustained it for generations with more than 35 national and international tours.
