Live Nation & Mount Baker Theatre Present

Nick Offerman: Big Woodchuck

An Evening of Comedy with Woodworking and Bookish Mirth

Nick Offerman, even more hirsute than last time, is back on tour to remind the fans of sawdust and what a living, breathing mammal, unsullied by AI, looks like. With songs and notions inspired by his newest book, Little Woodchucks, Offerman — with support from woodworker and co-author Lee Buchanan — might just inspire you to get busy making things with your own hands, which is guaranteed to get you kissed. Especially if what you make is sausage rolls.

“Canoes are sexy AF, especially when you make ‘em out of wood.” —Nina Simone, probably

An actor, author, humorist, and woodworker, Offerman does it all. Many know him from his Emmy award-winning performance as Bill in The Last of Us (HBO), Ron Swanson on NBC’s Parks and Recreation, Forest in Devs (FX miniseries), and Karl Weathers in the FX series Fargo. Offscreen, Offerman continues to inspire with six New York Times Bestselling books: Where the Deer and the Antelope Play, Paddle Your Own Canoe, Gumption, Good Clean Fun, and The Greatest Love Story Ever Told, written with his wife, Megan Mullally. His latest book, Little Woodchucks: Offerman Woodshop’s Guide to Tools and Tomfoolery, is a narrative woodworking guide for kids, large and small.

Offerman’s recent and upcoming projects include Death by Lightning (Netflix), Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Sovereign, Civil War, co-hosting and acting as executive producer for NBC’s Making It (co-host and executive producer), and more! His trademark voice can be heard as Beef Tobin in the FOX animated series The Great North and in audiobook format as the narrator for Wendell Berry’s The Need to Be Whole. In his spare time, he can be found at his woodshop in Los Angeles building hand-crafted items from wood, ranging from spoons and canoes to ukuleles.
