Join MBT for an evening with Over the Rhine, the acclaimed husband-and-wife Americana duo Karin Bergquist and Linford Detweiler.

Celebrated by Rolling Stone as a band “with no sign of fatigue, whose moment has finally arrived,” Over the Rhine continues to captivate audiences after more than 30 years of making music together. As Bergquist states, “There is still so much music left to be made.” 

Love & Revelation, Over the Rhine’s newest album, is a record made for this moment. The songs have been rigorously road tested and burst at the seams with loss, lament, and resilient hope. During the album’s 11 tracks, fall under the spell of Berqquist’s timeless voice. “[A voice] which has the power to stop the world in its tracks,” according to the Performing Songwriter. Like its predecessors, Love & Revelation showcases the pair’s timeless songcraft and understated yet soulful delivery.

Now living on a small farm outside Cincinnati, Bergquist and Detweiler host concerts and workshops in a restored 1870s barn loft. They also founded the Nowhere Else Festival, an annual music and arts festival held at their farm.

This special evening will feature songs both new and familiar, woven with stories that span decades of shared years, miles, tears, and smiles.
