Mount Baker Theatre Presents
The Moth Mainstage
The Moth Mainstage is quintessential storytelling in a two-act show with five storytellers, a dynamic host, and a musical act. Each story is true, told live, and without notes, capturing the essence of what makes The Moth a cultural phenomenon.
For more than 25 years, The Moth has celebrated the power of personal narrative to illuminate both diversity and the shared human experience. From astronauts to students, dental hygienists to a hotdog-eating champion, mechanics, exonerated prisoners, veterans, Nobel laureates, and everyday people, The Moth gives voice to stories that matter.
The Moth is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the art and craft of storytelling. They have presented over 60,000 stories at more than 6,000 live events across the globe since its founding in 1997. With a presence in 28 cities worldwide and hundreds of shows each year, The Moth also offers workshops for high school students, educators, adults, and global advocates through its education, community, and international programs.
