MBT Wade Bennett King Education Series Presents

Bellingham Symphony Orchestra | The Planets

Music is one of the most expressive disciplines in the performing arts. It sparks imagination, strengthens emotional intelligence, and supports cognitive development. Whether lyrical or instrumental, music helps students connect to stories and emotions in powerful and lasting ways. This season, the Bellingham Symphony Orchestra presents The Planets by Gustav Holst, a thrilling orchestral masterpiece that brings the solar system to life. Performed by a 107-piece orchestra (featuring rare instruments like the bass oboe and alto flute) and paired with stunning visual projections including NASA imagery and original animation, this immersive performance is a spectacular fusion of science, music, and wonder. It’s a must-see experience for students and educators alike!
