MBT Wade Bennett King Education Series Presents

Under the Tangle

Dance is a powerful form of expression that connects movement with meaning. It invites students to interpret stories through rhythm, shape, and emotion to build both artistic and academic confidence.

Under the Tangle tells the visually vibrant story of a young orphaned girl lost in a mysterious labyrinth. Throughout her journey, she twists along the maze finding numerous clues and meets a cast of captivating characters from a flock of whispering black birds to the elusive Queen of the Lost. Along the way, she overcomes obstacles and uncovers her own strength. With breathtaking choreography, this performance is a moving metaphor for resilience and self-discovery. It is a visual delight for all ages and a celebration of the adventurer within us all.
